Within the framework of the Erasmus+ MODEST Project /Doctoral Education in Science and Improvement of Teaching Methodologies/ the lecturers of the Pedagogical University participated in a training session at the project partner universities in July.
On 1-2 July, Professor of the Chair of Mathematics and its Teaching Methods Lusineh Ghulghazaryan attended a training session arranged at the Brunel University in England. During the training the participants got familiarized with the postgraduate education system in Great Britain, the postgraduate programmes offered at the Brunel University, as well as the soft skills theory and application.
From 9 to 12 July, the Lecturer of the Chair of Physics and its Teaching Methods Mariam Gevorgyants and the Associate Professor of the Chair of Pedagogy Svetlana Minasyan participated in the training session organised by the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. The participants got acquainted with organization of postgraduate education in Poland, namely in Jagiellonian University, training sessions helping to develop soft skills for researchers, as well as visited the Chemistry and Physics laboratories.
We would like to remind that the Erasmus+ MODEST Project /Doctoral Education in Science and Improvement of Teaching Methodologies/ aims at expanding the cooperation skills in the area of postgraduate education among the higher education institutions of the partner states within the framework of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and European Research Area (ERA). This project was launched in January 2019.
