On September 20, training was held for ASPU postgraduate students and applicants as well as for the staff of the ASPU esearch Centre within the framework of Erasmus+ project “Modernization of Doctoral Education in Science and Improvement of Teaching Methodologies” (MODEST).
During the meeting, Lusine Ghulghazaryan, Professor at the Chair of Mathematics and its Teaching Methods, presented the experience of organizing doctoral courses in Finland, England, Latvia and Poland, while Samavel Asatryan, Associate Professor at the Chair of Informatics and its Teaching Methods, presented the European principles of writing scientific articles. During the last few months, they attended training courses organized by European universities within the framework of Erasmus+ MODEST project.
Marianna Harutyunyan, Head of the International Cooperation Unit at ASPU, presented the main objectives of the project.
Let us remind that the wider objective of the project is to enhance cooperation capacities of higher educational institutions of partner countries in the field of doctoral studies within European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and European Research Area (ERA).
