From 18-22 February, one –week training was held at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology of Stockholm headed “Developing Financial Capacity Building Capabilities”.
The training was organised within the framework of the EU funded Erasmus+ Project “Boosting Strategy and Marketing for Internationalization of Armenian Universities”/BOOST/.
Among the participants of the training were representatives of the Armenian partner universities including the Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan, American University of Armenia, Yerevan State Conservatory, Shirak State University, Vanadzor State University, the RA Ministry of Education and Science, as well as the national Information Centre for Mutual Academic Recognition and Mobility.
The following representatives of the Pedagogical University participated in the one-week training: the Head of the ASPU Department of International Cooperation Marianna Harutyunyan, staff member of the same Department Raisa Avetyan, the Lecturer of the Chair of Museum and Library Studies and Bibliography Davit Poghosyan, and the Lecturer of the Chair of Informatics and its Teaching Methods Samvel Asatryan.
During the training the participants got acquainted with the process of applying for grant programmes, techniques of developing successful projects, as well as the process of data collection and building financial capacity. The participants made team works and drafted programmes based on the provided samples, which was then followed by the evaluation of the programmes by the European Partners.
In addition, the project coordination meeting was also held on 21 February, during which the project outcomes, expenditures and planned activities were discussed.
