KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

The Pedagogical University has been the member of the Francophone University Association since 2013; this is an international organization which various higher educational institutions, research centers and schools are members of. The Association gives an opportunity to the member institutions’ staff and students knowing French language to apply for different grants and take a short –term and long-term training courses abroad.

As a result of awareness raising seminars organized by the Department of International cooperation of the Pedagogical University three students aspiring to participate in grant projects applied to the Francophone Association; two of them were granted financing.

Therefore, the fourth year student of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Chair of French Language and Literature Gexetsik Hakobyan will spend a month of her pedagogical internship at the Pedagogical University in Lille, France.

Likewise, the sophomore of the Faculty of Education Psychology and Sociology Chair of Social Pedagogy Anush Sargsyan will participate in the Students’ Francophone Festival in Bucharest from 11-15 April. The aim of the Festival is to establish an intercultural communication platform for students coming from other countries.

This project includes cultural, creative activities, soirées dedicated to exposure of various cultures, and contests.
