Pupils of the Pedagogical University’s Secondary School N57 after Vahan Totovents congratulated on the Day of Motherhood and Beauty with a beautiful concert programme.
Poems glorifying mothers, happiness for their existence, confession of love to them, musical performances; in several languages pupils of different grades presented the Mother’s Day celebration in different countries after which they confessed that there is neither a poet nor a hero without a mother; mothers are our angels.
Besides, the pupils did not consider it accidental that it is the word Mother that lies in the basis of most important words such as motherland, church, language, and city.
Similarly, the first word announced by a baby is also Mother, it is tender in all languages of the world; this is what the students noticed and hurried to make the following confession that mothers’ eyes are the most beautiful eyes that remind a tabernacle and no matter which nation it derives from, it is a divine shrine.
Later on the pupils presented the historical background about the Goddess Anahit, thus, emphasizing that adoring mothers is coming from the paganism.
Likewise, it is symbolic that for the first time pupils congratulated their beloved mothers also in Chinese and with the national dance of that country; this language has been taught at the school since September.
The teacher of Chinese of the secondary school, the student of the Armenian –Russian (Slavonic) University Liza Aboyan mentioned in her speech to the old.aspu.am that even though Chinese is a difficult language, but the pupils like and are interested in it, and learn it easily.
In his turn, the APSU Associate Professor Samvel Mickaelyan who had supported the organization of the event, emphasized the image of mothers and the Armenian solders protecting them.
To conclude, at the end of the event those present read the Lord’s prayers to commemorate the Armenian soldiers who passed away on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border in the recent days.
