Young Historians about Armenian Educational Centres

By the initiative of the Associate Professor of the ASPU Chair of History of Armenia Arminei Yeprikyan the “Young Historians Club” organised a conference headed “Armenian Educational Centres in the 19th Century”.

During the conference, the members of the Club, comprising pupils of various flows from the ASPU Base College and of Yerevan School #97 presented the historical peculiarities typical of the period, and within that scope the process of development of education and culture.

In her interview to the www.old.aspu.am Armine Yeprikyan highlighted the requirement of equipping pupils with knowledge on history in our days of information technologies.

“I provided the students with the necessary literature to work on their reports as well as they were able to access the ASPU library, which in fact, strengthened the University –School relations”, Added Armine  Yeprikyan.

We would also like to mention that Young Historians Club, consisting of around 50 pupils, often organises various events such as visits to the historical and cultural sites of our country, participation in lectures, conferences, etc.
