KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

By the initiative of the Associate Professor of the ASPU Chair of Armenian History, Candidate of History Armine Yeprikyan the club of Young Historians will be opened at the Base College of the Pedagogical University with the involvement of 50 pupils.

A few days ago the club members visited the Faculty of History and Law, where they were welcomed by the Deputy Dean of Science and Postgraduate Education, Doctor of History Samvel Poghosyan.

The President of the Methodological Union of Social Studies Armine Yeprikyan introduced the upcoming programmes.

The latter informed that the first conference of young historians headed “Capital Cities of Armenia” would take place on 13 October.
“We have a lot of important activities ahead; and, despite your profession, you must know the history of your own nation. Nations will lose their own image if they do not realize their national values and preserve them”, added Armine Yeprkyan and wished the students good luck.
