KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

By the initiative of the ASPU Chair of Armenian Language and its Teaching Methods, a republic conference was organized on the 210th birth anniversary of Kh. Abovyan.

Thanks to you the glorious songs by Komitas are heard from the lips of our schoolchildren. He [Komitas] dreamed of opening schools where songs and music would be taught, where pure Armenian music would be performed.

ASPU Rector Ruben Mirzakhanyan had a meeting with the heads of the Chairs. The first item on the agenda of the traditional meeting concerned the efficiency of bachelor’s and master’s theses.

The Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Mr. Gevorg Loretsyan met the studnets of the Faculty of Education Psychology and Sociology.

Within the framework of the project on “Promoting Internationalisation of Universities” the Pedagogical University welcomed representatives from the Swedish Institute and the KTH Royal Institute of Technology.

From 7-11 October, an internationalization week and coordination meeting was organized in Technical University of Lisbon within the framework of the “Boosting Armenian Universities Internationalization Strategy & Marketing /BOOST/” project
