ELEMENTARY PEDAGOGY AND METHODOLOGY
- Calculation of the number of geometric figures
- Magic squares
- Mathematical rebuses
- Surface issues
- Splitting an image into equal parts or splitting into parts so that they are composed of them new image
- Interesting problems
The aim of the course is:
- to open up to the student the worldview significance of mathematics: mathematics as a type of culture, mathematics as a language, mathematics as a tool of knowledge, mathematics as a value,
- to give the student such mathematical knowledge, on the basis of which the elementary school mathematics course is built scientifically and effectively,
- contribute to the development of different types of student thinking (verbal-logical, combinatorial, probabilistic, etc.),
- contribute to the formation and development of the student's ability to do independent work, constantly learn and acquire knowledge,
- to create the necessary theoretical-mathematical foundations for the effective implementation of "Methodology of teaching mathematics in elementary school" courses.
- form a value system among students.
At the end of the course, the student will be able to:
- calculate the number of images in a certain sequence
- Make and solve problems about magic squares
- Solve easy math rebuses
- Understand and apply basic surface properties
- Solve simple problems of splitting images and combining them to get new images
- Solve logical and fascinating problems
The total volume of the course is 90 hours, 12 classroom hours and 78 extra-curricular hours. Of the classroom hours, 4 are given to practical work, 8 to lectures. During extracurricular hours, the student reads and develops literature, does analytical and research work, writes abstracts and essays, prepares for the next class.
