ETHICAL RULES OF OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY PROFESSION
The course "Ethical rules of the occupational therapy profession" provides theoretical and practical fundamental knowledge about the ethical principles used within the occupational therapy profession and presents the ethical rules and principles of working approaches and methods widely used in the field of practice in the profession. It presents the basic concepts of occupational therapy work approaches, ethical principles and rules of methods and their direct connection to the practical field.
The purpose of the course is:
- to develop students' knowledge and understanding of the basic ethical principles and rules applied in occupational therapy profession.
At the end of the course, the student will be able to:
To study the ethical principles and rules that are the basis of the activity of the profession.
- Identify the directions of application of professional ethical principles and rules in work activities and their direct connection and application with the practical sphere.
- Demonstrate an ethical approach during professional activities.
- Apply the obtained theoretical and practical ethical rules and principles in the work process.
- To be oriented in the presentation of scientific and applied problems of the subject area.
- To master the skills of practical application of ethical rules and principles of the profession.
- Follow professional ethical rules when applying intervention approaches, methods and technical means.
