KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

For already 14 years, the Pedagogical University has been organizing the School Choirs Republican Festival, which aims at bringing back the traditions of the choir singing art.

A two-day conference entitled “Mathematics Education” and initiated by Armenian State Pedagogical University in collaboration with the State Committee of Science and National Institute of Education started at ASPU on October 18.

On October 18, students and lecturers of the Faculty of Art Education hosted Claude Armen Mutafian, an honorary doctor of Yerevan State University, Professor of the Sorbonne University, a historian and expert in Armenian studies.

A meeting was organized with freshmen of the Faculty of History and Law to familiarize them with international programmes offered by the University and opportunities to participate in them.

Srbuhi Gevorgyan, ASPU Vice-Rector for Educational and Scientific Affairs, participated in the International Forum of the Eurasian Association of Pedagogical Universities which held in Kazakhstan earlier this month.

Karine Hovhannisyan, a fourth-year student of the Faculty of Philology, is doing her pedagogical internship in the school of Chinari village in Armenia’s Tavush Marz (province).
