SOVIETIZATION OF TRANSCAUCASIA
The course "Sovietization of Transcaucasia" provides fundamental knowledge about the Sovietization of Transcaucasia in 1920-1922․ It presents the features of the Sovietization of the Transcaucasian republics, their differences, and the process of their incorporation into the Soviet Union.
The purpose of the course is:
- to develop students' knowledge about the history of Transcaucasia․
At the end of the course, the student will be able to:
- to present the main facts, events, and patterns of their development in Transcaucasia.
- to comment on the approaches of different historiographical trends in the Sovietization of Transcaucasia,
- to reveal the falsifications of Azerbaijani historians․
