KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

The closing conference of the Tempus MAHATMA project took place at Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU).

The delegation of the Pedagogical University had a business trip to the Moscow State Pedagogical University from 22-27 September.

The Rector of the Armenian State Pedagogical University, Professor Rouben Mirzakhanyan was awarded the title of Honorary Professor by the decision of the Moscow State Pedagogical University Board.

Today, the Rector of the Pedagogical University Rouben Mirzakhanyan had a working meeting with the Heads of the University Chairs; the issue on the meeting agenda referred to the organization of internships.

On September 28, Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) hosted Abkhaz colleagues of "Step by Step" Benevolent Foundation, who were accompanied by Ruzanna Tsarukyan, the Director of the Foundation.

On September 26, 2001, the European Union and the Council of Europe declared the European Day of Languages (EDL) to celebrate linguistic diversity and highlight the importance of language learning.

On the 25th Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia a photo exhibition was organized on the topic of “A Quarter of a Century; on the Way toward Independence” at the foyer of the Faculty of Culture of the Pedagogical University.
