Programs, dreams, journeys․․․
Programs, dreams, journeys․․․ it seems that these three cannot be realized at the same time, but I will prove the opposite. It all started in 2018 when it turned out that the Erasmus+ mobility program allows continuing education abroad for some time, in my case in Oulu, Finland, one of the most beautiful and fresh air countries in Europe. At first, living abroad without my relatives seemed very unreal and difficult. I must admit that upon arriving in Finland, the first positive impression was the rich green nature and purity of it, which gave me hope I can live there. However, the perfectly quiet situation was unusual for me. Adapting to the conditions of Oulu took only 3 days. After going to university, I met people who became friends, new events, different cultures, and everything changed. Meanwhile, during that time I participated in another program in which result I became a part of host family, the greatest family with whom I still keep in touch. They treated me like one of their very familiar person. Thanks to them, I became more familiar with the sights and culture of Oulu, and finally learned to ski and skate. It has already 4 years since I returned from Oulu, but I have not forgotten anyone and still keep in touch with. I thank all of them for being by my side.
To sum up, thanks to the Erasmus+ mobility program I have made irreplaceable friends, also improved my knowledge of English (also learned some Finnish words), my worldview changed, I became more self-confident, independent, organized person and learned to cook delicious food. Besides all of this, the program allowed me to study in the Finnish education system, get acquainted with new learning methods. I even did teaching practice at Finnish school and managed to get lost on its way. I always remember not to be discouraged because there is a way out of every difficult situation. I had the opportunity to accomplish my goals and travel to different cities in Finland
